Større enn antatt! Årets første oljefunn er et faktum. Brønn 24/9-12 Frosk kan inneholde så mye som 60mmboe.
The Plantain discovery in the UK sector is analogous to the Frosk discovery in the Norwegian sector.

Gro Haatvedt, letesjef i Aker BP sier i pressemeldingen:

«The Frosk discovery adds significant volume and value to our resource base, and provides an ideal basis for another profitable expansion project which will secure optimal utilization of the infrastructure in the Alvheim area for many years. The discovery has given us valuable new information about the geological conditions in the area, and has further increased the attractiveness of other possible exploration targets.»

    PL340
    Aker BP (operatør): 65%
    Point Resources: 20%
    Lundin Norway: 15%
