Oil and gas companies should embrace digitalization because it can lead to improved operational efficiency and more value creation.

Digital technologies can also help reduce costs, increase production and asset utilization, improve safety and sustainability, and create new revenue streams.

In an industry that is facing declining reserves and a greater focus on emissions, digitalization can be a key enabler for companies to remain competitive and grow.

Participate at the DIGEX 2023 conference in Oslo March 28 – 30th to see for yourself how new technologies and projects are unlocking higher efficiency and new opportunities within the E&P industry.

Two full sessions are dedicated to the open subsurface data platform OSDU. OSDU was developed to stimulate innovation and collaboration within and between companies seamlessly. Enabling seamless collaboration among the subsurface team members means that sharing data has never been easier.

The OSDU data platform combined with well-established applications and other in-cloud technologies with machine learning, streamlines collaboration for a cross-functional subsurface team of geoscientists.

The advances within the digitalization of palynological data, promise the utilization of «microfossils big data” for a better understanding of the subsurface.

Of course, digitalization is more than just data and technology. It is about people and how they can work together across disciplines and distances seamlessly and more efficiently.

The real power of digitalization may be in enabling cross-functional teams to use digital tools to find data faster, cross-combine data (often in an innovative way) instantly, check and modify input parameters on the fly and generate consistent quick-look interpretations and quality data check in seconds rather than months.

Did you know that is it now possible to design a well in a day?

Do you know why microfossils may be regarded as nature’s microplastics?

Did you know that 3D visualization models can give you all the information you need and thus be used as data mining tools?

Do you know why AI recommends you participate at the upcoming DIGEX 2023 conference?
