The speakers in the seminars will touch upon a large part of the toolbox, including AVO, CSEM, IP and Ocean Bottom Seismic (OBS).
With respect to AVO, Per Avseth of Tullow Oil will discuss the technological challenges he faced when de-risking the Zumba prospect. It will be interesting to learn why Tullow failed. David Poole, Spike Exploration, will talk about «The quest for the rest, holistic perspectives». This is particularly interesting taking into account a high number of dry wells this year.
