    For mange tørre brønner

Så langt i år har deg ikke blitt gjort et eneste skikkelig olje- eller gassfunn. Nå spør vi om hva verktøykassen inneholder, og om den er stor nok.

We can do nothing without seismic. But can we find oil and gas without using the rest of the tool-box? And which tools are most useful? The idea behind the October seminar is to have oil companies to share their experience with the various tools, and to have a vividly discussion about them.

A major part of the Norwegian Continental Shelf is mature. Most of the “elephants” have been found. Now we have to look for the subtle traps. But – so far this year – little has been found. Lots of dry wells, and only a few small discoveries.
Få og små funn gir svak vekst.
Meaning that geophysics is key. What do we find in the exploration tool-box? What kind of experience do we have with the various tools, and how can they be used on the NCS? And how do our work methods influence our success?
We have lots of questions, in the October seminars you will get some of the answers.
Read about the seminars October 22 and October 28.
