– Most companies contribute actively in the technical work leading up to a drilling decision. In some cases partners may play a key role also in the drilling phase, says Geir Lunde, managing director of Concedo.

– This requires preparation and to have the right team in place. One case will be presented to illustrate this. In this case active partner contribution and the operator’s excellent drilling department turned a few stringers of oil sand into a discovery, says Lunde.
This discovery has entered the production phase.
