Accurate production forecasts are vital for E&P decision-making, guiding operations, investments, and corporate strategy.

At the Dig X Subsurface 2025 conference in Oslo in December, Erik Norrud Pollen, Senior Data Scientist at Aker BP, will share how the company transformed its forecasting process for consistency and speed across all assets.

Using a new Monte Carlo-based method, Aker BP combines subsurface, operational, and drilling data to create unbiased forecasts that account for uncertainties for a project, field, or asset.

By using ensemble reservoir models and automated data workflows, Aker BP’s approach captures critical uncertainties, turning complex data into clear, actionable insights.

Manual spreadsheets and inconsistent workflows are history. Custom digital tools now streamline data preparation, rapidly converting reservoir simulations into well production profiles.

A centralized data platform stores quality-assured forecasts, easily accessible via API or a user-friendly web app, enabling seamless corporate roll-ups.

This streamlined approach saves time, letting forecasters focus on analysis rather than manual tasks.

Join us at Scandic Fornebu, December 03-04, 2025, to learn more. The program can be found on the conference website.
