    At Recent Discoveries 2016, discoveries from frontier and mature areas are presented, but we will also take a deep dive into other geological subjects

    Geopublishing and the Norwegian Geological Society is proud to invite you to the second edition of the conference «NCS Exploration – Recent Discoveries«, which is coming up on May 11-12 at Scandic Fornebu outside Oslo.
    In addition to several exciting recent discoveries from the frontier to more mature areas being featured, the program committee is proud to present a program containing a deeper dive into more specific, geological subjects.
    Among the featured subjects are:

    • The NCS as a petroleum province the next 50 years
    • Charge – A primary prerequisite to make a discovery
    • Injectites
    • Core viewing
    • The Gullkronen lectures
    • Near-field exploration and
    • Assessing the exploration toolbox
