Mr. Tessem has 30 years’ experience within the E&P industry, having held positions with PGS, Elf, Shell, Det norske oljeselskap, DNO and Deminex.
In 2007 Mr. Tessem founded Spring Energy backed by private equity firm HitecVision. The Company took part in several major discoveries on the Norwegian Continental Shelf and was subsequently acquired by Tullow Oil in 2012.
Roar Tessem was CEO of Tullow Norway until end of 2014.
Roar Tessem er CEO i Pure E&P. Han har tidligere hatt samme posisjon i Spring Energy og Tullow Oil Norway. Nå blir han leder i nye Point Resources.
